Ouvert ALL the things!* This black satin bra was inspired by a vintage quarter cup (what?! People in the 50's liked sexy bras too) and even more vintage stays, so rather than wires, it's vertically boned with a stabilising lining. The curvy scalloped bustline satin sweeps up to a strap with an adjustable elastic back with black powernet back and hooks and eyes. It has a delicate tulle frill and satin bow to finish it.
You can wear this as a low cut bra and it will offer some support, though it won't lift and seperate the way wired bras do, or we also like it worn over other bras and tops as a lingerie fashion item. Where it sits on you will depend on your breast shape and nipple placement; if you're an E cup or above, it's probably best to go up a size - but be aware that this isn't a bra designed with athletic activity in mind! The black satin is the same used on the Angelou Bra, also on a set coming out later this year, and on Playful Promises' black satin styles, so there's plenty to mix it up with.
* This phrase originates with the excellent Hyperbole and a Half, whom I thoroughly recommend reading. Though she has never in any way endorsed ouverting anything, probably because no-one ever let her loose in the land of lingerie.
