I'm running a writing competition at the moment - just a line, paragraph, however much you want, on what makes KMD special for you.

"What makes Kiss Me Deadly special for me... well, it is my secret weapon! About three years ago I stumbled upon Kiss Me Deadly while I was looking for some Pin Up inspired clothing. I had recently been diagnosed with one of those invisible illnesses and was feeling down about myself and my image. I wanted to capture the moment in time of when I felt that I looked my best so I could continue to feel my best. I decided to book a photo shoot with a professional photographer and create my own “coffee table” book of the beautiful me. I searched for a few months and could not find the outfit that I wanted to remember myself in for this special photo shoot.
When I found Kiss Me Deadly the Blue Deville collection was hot, hot, hot. It was like the clouds had parted and the sun shined down on my computer screen. It was nothing like the mass produced blah, blah, blah that I had seen on 100 other websites. This was it. It was perfect. I ordered the entire set. My photo shoot was a personal success for me and I can’t explain in words how beautiful I felt in my Kiss Me Deadly. I have since become an avid shopper of Kiss Me Deadly and have quite the collection of lingerie goodies in my knicker drawer. Being located in the US, I have paid an insane amount of international shipping costs over the years but it is worth it. I just don’t think anything domestic compares in terms of quality and style. So I have a handful of European retailers I purchase from or direct from Kiss Me Deadly and that is just how it is for me!
I did not want my illness to inhibit me and I can honestly say that after that photo shoot I have held my head high (only looking down occasionally to admire my fabulous high-heel shoes) and that self-confidence has propelled me to be positive and find the beauty within me. So yes, my self-made confidence was comprised of lingerie and high heels, not a bad combo if you ask me.
I love my boyfriend Jon more than words can explain but I have been in quite the love affair with myself over the past few years. Life changes certainly make us much more intimately familiar with ourselves and I believe THAT is the sexiest love affair that you can have. I don’t always feel good but when I look good, it makes me feel so much better about myself. There have been days where I am just lounging around my house in my Kiss Me Deadly, for no other reason than to just feel beautiful. Lingerie isn’t for a special occasion… it is for feeling special every single day!!! Kiss Me Deadly has been my secret weapon to feeling sexy and confident every day, so thank you!"
